PROS:

• has a good SPF value
• gives you a good  coverage and covers skin imperfection fairly
• flat and compact size packaging which is good for travelling
• non greasy

CONS:

• has a pinkish undertone which may be too light for darker skin tones
• has a thick consistency which is easily dries up
• can be too drying for dry skin types
• oil control power doesn't last long

MY EXPERIENCE:

I would say that this BB cream is  a little tricky to use . It gives me different finishes depends on how I use and mix with different primers. I honestly didn't like it at first cause I find it too drying for my  dry combination skin. It leaves dry patches especially around my cheeks area and settles into lines. That was the time when I use it alone with a thin  layer of moisturizer. It was not impressing and thought I might threw it away, give it to someone else or might kept it in my drawer forever. However, I didn't give up hence gave it a second time using it with my Loreal Paris base Magique Primer, it was convincing then that it wasn't junk at all. This bb cream has a thick pink undertone which  I thought might be too light  for me.Surprisingly,  it blends pretty fair and nicely with my NC25-30 skintone. One technique that I've learnt from using it is by mixing it either with a tad moisturizer or a foundation, depending on how much coverage you would like to achieve. If I want to have a dewy look finish, I mix it up with my Benefit Girl Meet Pearls Highlighter,  or with my MAC Strobe cream .This is my favorite finish, my face looks bright, glowy and flawless with a dust of loose powder on top. It didn't cause to breakout as  well which is a bonus:) I have to say that I still need to blot excess oil after a few hrs using this regardless of what kind of procedures I used. It's oil control power doesn't last long. The color shades aren't universal too. In my overall opinion, this bb cream isn't bad at all. I don't have any ideas how it performs to other skintypes. But for dry skin combination like me, I suggest you to play around with this cream as it was really tricky to use and can be too drying if worn alone.

My Experience:

I got my first Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil in Green Tea extract last December 2010, What I like about this cleansing oil is that it really  helps  removing my waterproof mascara using together with my cleansing charcoal pads without any effort. The scent might not be tolerable to others  due to some particular oil substances and the  green tea scent. But for me, didn't find it any redolent at all, in fact I love the way it smells!.Knowing that it has mineral oil substance which some says  can cause breakouts, however  lucky for me that it doesn't  give me any bumps or irritation.I can feel the softness of my skin everytime I use this. This cleanser is a winner,but  is a  bit pricey..

2.) CLINIQUE 7day scrub cream rinse-off formula.

My Experience:

I would say that this is the best scrubbing  cream that I have tried so far  compared to the previous scrubbing cream that I've used before. I got the chance to try this scrubbing cream when I purchased my  Clinique  blended face powder   last year from the counter . SA gave me a 30 ml sample of this  as a compliment.It has microbeads which you can actually  feel when scrubbing off your face. And I've noticed that it does helps a bit closing off my small open  pores around the nose area. I love the way it leaves my skin supple,deeply cleaned and keeping it  fresh.This scrubbing cream gives me a lot of benefits! I think the 100ml tube cost around Rm98  at the counter.For sure, save my penny to purchase it:)

3.)        Clinique  Blended Face Powder in 03 transparency

INGREDIENTS: Talc, zinc stearate, magnesium carbonate, kaolin, squaline, isopropyl myristate, trisodium, edta, potassium sorbate, methylparaben, butylparaben, and propelparaben.

Product Description: 


Loose, lightweight powder for every skin type. Sets makeup; makes pores seem to disappear.

My Experience:

I bought this for RM110 at the Cliniques counter. It comes with a small brush in the package but I use a large powder brush instead to have more even coverage.  I use this powder after applying my concealer or foundations even BB creams.It blends well to my skin and looks natural. Very lightweight, doesn't gives me breakouts,perfect for my combination skin type ..There's only one thing that I don't like from this powder , it doesn't stay long.

4.)  MAC Blot Pressed Powder in Medium Dark

My Experience:


I heard so much  positive reviews about on this product and thought of giving  a try. Since I really need a good powder for my combination skin. I promtly purchased it from MAC counters (RM95) and gave a try for myself to witness the wonders of it:) And yes, what they say is true indeed! It keeps my  face oil free all day with a lightweight feeling. Before Im using a blot paper to remove excess oil from my face especially the T zone area,this time not anymore. Just a few re touch up of this powder , and voila ! Very natural looking and doesn't give any skin irritations.Brilliant product!love love love!

For the price of  RM15+ , I was stunned by the  results of it.This product is
a virtual steal.Inexpensive yet works great! It does covers my  dark cirles and skin imperfections. Sets evenly well with my Clinique Loose powder. It doesn't look cakey at all compared to a cream base concealer.Personally I like liquid type concealer more cause it looks more natural and very easy to blend and apply. I'm actually on my 2nd bottle of it and happy to re-purchase  it again.

6.)  Kiss Me Liquid liner

Product Description:


I believe that this product is a Japanese brand as it was obviously  written in a japanese languages . Couldn't find any english translation except for the word Heavy Rotation Perfect Liquid Eyeliner and probably the brand name Kiss me.




My Experience:


I saw this  eyeliners before when I was doing my  window shopping in our local SASA store and swatched it on my hand.The colors were vibrant and I love the way it doesn't smudge and  smear easily when I attempt to rub it. It is a brush tip type that easily glides on in every application. Long wearing and waterproof! I love it!

6.)  Clinique's Lash Power Mascara in 01 Black Onyx

Product Description:

My Experience:


I absolutely agree with all what the product claims. My short lashes totally turns to magic after I applied a certain coats of it without smudging or smearing! It is waterproof that last all day and very easy to remove.Finally found the perfect mascara for me.

REVIEWS FROM THE SKINCARE PRODUCTS I'VE USED IN 2010

Hi Fabulous readers:),since it's almost the end of the year, I thought of writing some reviews about the products I've used that I found effectively and not so good on my skin. Please take a note that all of the products that I'm going to share with you is all purchased by me and nothings been sponsored. So what Im going to write here is all about my experience and reviews about my honest opinions with the products that I've used. I'm just a beauty holic person who loves to discover new things that will give benefits to my sensitive dry combination/t zone oily  skin.I hope this will helps you too as a reference in finding the right products for you.

Since there are so many brands of skincare/cosmetics around the world you are choosing from,you really never knew which or what products to use for our different kinds of skin. We are being skeptical by trying it because we may never know the negative or positive effect will it gives to our skin.

In my experiences, after using my skincare products  for almost 10 years from a "not so famous dermatology clinic" ,I've decided to give a try to a new product that will best suite for my aging skin. As i have read in many articles, our skin should be treated based on our age. Im on my 30's now so I thought finding the perfect skincare for my age and my skin type.The first one that I've tried on is: 

The CLINIQUE's 3STEP SKINCARE SYSTEM 

Ive tried on their trial pack for dry/combination skin which cost about RM105.It consist of Facial wash, Clarifying Lotion 2, and Dramatically Moisturizer. First week of using it, I find  my skin supple with their facial wash. Followed by a Clarifying toner,which  gives a menthol effect on my face, and the last is the dramatically moisturizer which brightens up my dull face. I've been enjoying using it all  for the past 3 weeks.But as I have noticed that there is one or two break outs comes out from my forehead which is in T zone area of my face, I was in doubt of using it continously.Instead, I went down to the counters and ask for their anti blemish soap and told them I had these breakouts after using the trial pack. As she explained to me, the toner has an alcohol ingredients which can cause maybe "some" of the blemish.The product turneds me off after hearing that the toner will trigger the blemish to comes out cause of the alcohol content of it.But I still give it a try until I was pissed off by the blemishes that continously appears on  my T zone face area :/

So I totally decided to stop using it.As I have read on many reviews about it, some of them love it but some are the same problem like  me. Think it depends on the reaction of each different kinds of skin .So for me, it doesn't works, except for the facial wash and the moisturizer. The only worst for me is the Clarifying lotion. 

Back to CLINIQUE products,I thought that my skin disagrees with their product but in my next feature, Ive had a great success with them .And these  products are:

The CLINIQUE's Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

One thing I love about this product is the texture of it .It is gel type moisturizer which really soothes my dehydrated skin leaving with a non oily sticky feeling after applying it to my skin.Safe for my combination skin type. I used this after  cleansing my face with the Cellnique hydrating lotion and Sebum Gel,Just a lil dot to fill in my thirsty skin.And yes definitely , I will re purchase it again.

For my night moisturizer, I currently used the  CLINIQUE Youth Surge Night Decelerating Night Moisturizer

I was impressed by the results of it when I first applied that night  and waking up in the morning  with a smooth and refreshing look .Everytime I wake up in the morning ,my face looks fresh and supple. Im on my first 15ml trial and it's  almost finished. Definitely, I will re purchase again as it gives benefits to my skin:)
