Weekend Hauls SHU UEMURA EYELASH CURLER and a REVIEW

Hi Friends, wishing you a great day ahead! Finally , I've grabbed on my ever first Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. I've been raving this curlash before since I've heard on how this curlash works ingeniously. I've bought this at Perfumes&Cosmetics by Nuance Watson at  Changi Budget Terminal Singapore for $21 SGD ( RM51) which sells in Malaysia counters  for RM65.

My Experience:

I got my first Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil in Green Tea extract last December 2010, What I like about this cleansing oil is that it really  helps  removing my waterproof mascara using together with my cleansing charcoal pads without any effort. The scent might not be tolerable to others  due to some particular oil substances and the  green tea scent. But for me, didn't find it any redolent at all, in fact I love the way it smells!.Knowing that it has mineral oil substance which some says  can cause breakouts, however  lucky for me that it doesn't  give me any bumps or irritation.I can feel the softness of my skin everytime I use this. This cleanser is a winner,but  is a  bit pricey..

2.) CLINIQUE 7day scrub cream rinse-off formula. 

INGREDIENTS: Purified water; tridecyl stearate, tridecyl trimellitate,

My Experience:

I would say that this is the best scrubbing  cream that I have tried so far  compared to the previous scrubbing cream that I've used before. I got the chance to try this scrubbing cream when I purchased my  Clinique  blended face powder   last year from the counter . SA gave me a 30 ml sample of this  as a compliment.It has microbeads which you can actually  feel when scrubbing off your face. And I've noticed that it does helps a bit closing off my small open  pores around the nose area. I love the way it leaves my skin supple,deeply cleaned and keeping it  fresh.This scrubbing cream gives me a lot of benefits! I think the 100ml tube cost around Rm98  at the counter.For sure, save my penny to purchase it:)

3.)        Clinique  Blended Face Powder in 03 transparency

INGREDIENTS: Talc, zinc stearate, magnesium carbonate, kaolin, squaline, isopropyl myristate, trisodium, edta, potassium sorbate, methylparaben, butylparaben, and propelparaben.

Product Description: 


Loose, lightweight powder for every skin type. Sets makeup; makes pores seem to disappear.

My Experience:

I bought this for RM110 at the Cliniques counter. It comes with a small brush in the package but I use a large powder brush instead to have more even coverage.  I use this powder after applying my concealer or foundations even BB creams.It blends well to my skin and looks natural. Very lightweight, doesn't gives me breakouts,perfect for my combination skin type ..There's only one thing that I don't like from this powder , it doesn't stay long.

4.)  MAC Blot Pressed Powder in Medium Dark

I heard so much  positive reviews about on this product and thought of giving  a try. Since I really need a good powder for my combination skin. I promtly purchased it from MAC counters (RM95) and gave a try for myself to witness the wonders of it:) And yes, what they say is true indeed! It keeps my  face oil free all day with a lightweight feeling. Before Im using a blot paper to remove excess oil from my face especially the T zone area,this time not anymore. Just a few re touch up of this powder , and voila ! Very natural looking and doesn't give any skin irritations.Brilliant product!love love love!

For the price of  RM15+ , I was stunned by the  results of it.This product is
a virtual steal.Inexpensive yet works great! It does covers my  dark cirles and skin imperfections. Sets evenly well with my Clinique Loose powder. It doesn't look cakey at all compared to a cream base concealer.Personally I like liquid type concealer more cause it looks more natural and very easy to blend and apply. I'm actually on my 2nd bottle of it and happy to re-purchase  it again.

6.)  Kiss Me Liquid liner

Product Description:


I believe that this product is a Japanese brand as it was obviously  written in a japanese languages . Couldn't find any english translation except for the word Heavy Rotation Perfect Liquid Eyeliner and probably the brand name Kiss me.




My Experience:


I saw this  eyeliners before when I was doing my  window shopping in our local SASA store and swatched it on my hand.The colors were vibrant and I love the way it doesn't smudge and  smear easily when I attempt to rub it. It is a brush tip type that easily glides on in every application. Long wearing and waterproof! I love it!

My Experience:


I absolutely agree with all what the product claims. My short lashes totally turns to magic after I applied a certain coats of it without smudging or smearing! It is waterproof that last all day and very easy to remove.Finally found the perfect mascara for me.

SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING!!!

Did you say shopping? Yes I'm in to that especially during  mid year sales and 

holiday seasons! This holiday season, we spent our Christmas eve in Genting Highlands Malaysia.The kids really had fun !  After staying for almost 3 days there, we jumped out to KL which is about 45 mins drive from Genting. I couldn't help but to roam around and look for something that would make me feel excited about :) and yes I went to Suria KLCC ,trying to look for the item that I'm really dying to have for which is not available in our counters area in our place Johor:/ Guess what it is?

My new LANCOME LA ROSE DECO:)

The first time I saw this from the magazine ,  it really wows me and never stop thinking about it! haha, I was indeed rapped to it's beautiful pinky with a mixture of shimmering colours.

I went to look for it at the Lancome counters in JB where I live , but I was disappointed that it was only available in KL Lancome counters.And thought of inquiring it in our neighboring country Singapore, yes they have it but the price is almost double! They are selling at SGD70 which is about RM165 in Malaysia . But in KL it was only RM110. A difference of RM55? Since I knew that we'll be  travelling  to KL,I just waited for that day to purchase it:) (clever thinking,eh?)

 While exploring of KLCC Shopping mall, Shu Uemura Counters seems so inviting and  was so curious to ask the MUA to ask to give me a demo about their famous Cleansing Oil and Deep sea Water Mist Spray . This cleansing oil is simply amazing !  I felt the suppleness and smoothness of my skin. It is a beneficial cleansing oil. Aside from removing your makeup thoroughly,  it has an ingredients formula to fight aging  and dry skin. So I didn't hesitate to  purchased it .  The Deep Sea Water mist was to be use before putting a foundation according to the MUA or just simply use as a refreshing spray .I wasn't actually  suppose to purchase it but when the moment she sprayed it on to my face, I really felt the sudden freshness! The rose scented  really smells divine and so love it!This is a  must have especially to humid places like here. Just  one spray of it and Oh la la, magic refreshness!

That's all for year end 2010 shopping escapades.As we welcome 2011.
