PROS:
- has a good SPF value
- gives you a good coverage and covers skin imperfection fairly
- flat and compact size packaging which is good for travelling
- non greasy
CONS:
- has a pinkish undertone which may be too light for darker skin tones
- has a thick consistency which is easily dries up
- can be too drying for dry skin types
- oil control power doesn't last long
MY EXPERIENCE:
I would say that this BB cream is a little tricky to use . It gives me different finishes depends on how I use and mix with different primers. I honestly didn't like it at first cause I find it too drying for my dry combination skin. It leaves dry patches especially around my cheeks area and settles into lines. That was the time when I use it alone with a thin layer of moisturizer. It was not impressing and thought I might threw it away, give it to someone else or might kept it in my drawer forever. However, I didn't give up hence gave it a second time using it with my Loreal Paris base Magique Primer, it was convincing then that it wasn't junk at all. This bb cream has a thick pink undertone which I thought might be too light for me.Surprisingly, it blends pretty fair and nicely with my NC25-30 skintone. One technique that I've learnt from using it is by mixing it either with a tad moisturizer or a foundation, depending on how much coverage you would like to achieve. If I want to have a dewy look finish, I mix it up with my Benefit Girl Meet Pearls Highlighter, or with my MAC Strobe cream .This is my favorite finish, my face looks bright, glowy and flawless with a dust of loose powder on top. It didn't cause to breakout as well which is a bonus:) I have to say that I still need to blot excess oil after a few hrs using this regardless of what kind of procedures I used. It's oil control power doesn't last long. The color shades aren't universal too. In my overall opinion, this bb cream isn't bad at all. I don't have any ideas how it performs to other skintypes. But for dry skin combination like me, I suggest you to play around with this cream as it was really tricky to use and can be too drying if worn alone.
